Looks sort of like a mix of Turkish/Arabic and Egyptian, quite nice. Hopefully much more open spaces as a result (should be more like Tyria just from the region/settings alone)

As it has a more African style theme to it, should be possible to have grassland areas too (savannahs) rather than just all being rock/desert. Those buildings look nice though.

When I first heard about Nightfall taking place in a more African Enviroment, I was sceptical. "We basicly get the Crystal Desert. As a game?" Was my thoughts. But looking at that, and knowing the game isn't even really prepared, really removed all doubts that Anet can't pull off the Nightfall enviroment.

Ooh, I like. The environments look really nice, and I'm excited about the possibility for more wide open areas. It seems like a lot of Prophecies and Factions are made up of narrow passageways leading from one outpost to the next, with little room to branch off. Because of that, the Crystal Desert is still one of my favorite areas in GW because of the big, open zones like Diviner's Ascent and the Arid Sea. Bring on the savannahs, I say.

Probably just didn't know better. In fact Africa on planet Earth has a wide variety of landscape; sandy as well as rocky deserts, jungles, savannahs (think prairie if you don't know what that is) swampland; even has snow in some parts at times...

I hope Elona turns out a bit like that, with large open spaces, without falling into the stereotype Africa image (i.e. has more than just desert)
